ON THE FARM:
● The Forests and gardens are blossoming and the bees are busy at work. Photography enthusiasts will enjoy the Wild Pomegranites, Agapanthas and Cape Chestnut Trees all coming into flower.
● Buffalo Bay Beach is such a lovely beach and only 20 km away so don’t forget your bat and ball and body boards.
● Our Veggie Patch has a nice selection of salad greens at the moment.
● We have three new additions to the Nguni Herd and plenty of fluffy new little chicks
● We've added an outdoor shower to our Family Tented Lodges site-wonderful for cooling down on a hot day or rinsing off after the beach!
● We went strawberry picking at Red Berry Farm - highly recommended! Their strawberry season started in May 09 and will run till January 2010. See www.redberryfarm.co.za for more details.
● Kids – don’t forget to bring your bikes – our farm roads are great for bike riding and your Gumboots for puddle jumping! Farm mud is the best mud!
● A reminder for those rainy days – we have put DVD machines in all our Cottages and have a small library of DVD’s at reception with a more current selection available at Portland Minimarket just down the road.
