The Wild Olive is our largest wooden cottage.

It can sleep five. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, the second bedroom-a double bunk and a ¾ bed.
There is a bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet.

The open plan lounge and kitchen area have a lovely spacious feeling – comfortably able to accommodate a family of five.
We have equipped the kitchen with a full compliment of cutlery, crockery, glassware, some pots and pans and culinary utensils. There is a four plate oven, microwave and a large fridge.

Inside you will find a fireplace, TV (with the SABC channels and eTV) and a DVD machine. Outside, on the deck, you will find table and chairs for “al fresco” dining, a braai with grid, tongs and a supply of braai wood as well as breath taking views.
The deck is well shaded so you can braai rain or shine!

All cottages and tents have stunning views and offer a great deal of privacy and tranquillity. You have use of the salt-water swimming pool (solar heated) and sauna. There are several walking trails through 60 ha of private indigenous forest. Close by is horse riding, canoe hire, mountain bike trails, beautiful picnic sites along shallow streams in the shade of large rainforest trees. Rheenendal is a 15-20 minute drive to Knysna and 15 minutes to the nearest beach (Buffalo Bay).
